"The ChemPro100i is like a PID on steroids"
This is because it is in its Trend or "sniffer" mode the ChemPro100i can sniff for many things that a PID with a 10.6 eV lamp will miss including methanol, methylene chloride, chlorine and even freon to name a few.
Plus, if it can characterize the chemical it will give a text message at the top of the Trend screen to help users figure out what the chemical or type of chemical with which they might be dealing.
